[As the scene opens, the woman has been making a loud statement about her being able to say "whatever she wants during labor. This is said and taken in a joking mood by the ressearcher who laughs, comments on the laughter as all join laughing at her predicament. The mention of the camera at a time when "nothing else is happening" and chitchat is allowable, gives the nurse an opening to ask questions about the taping, and for the husband to continue what is indexed back by the researcher to something he has done before: "teasing" her about how boring it will be to watch all these hours of tape.]
