Students who have chosen to do a class presentation of an "alternate ethnography" will be expected to do the following:

1. E-mail me an outline of the presentation with a draft of a 250 word summary of this presention a week before the presentation, and try to come and talk to me about it during my office hours.
2. Post a 250 to 300 word summary of the presentation on Canvas close to the day of the presentation.
3. The class presentation will last 10 to 15 minutes. The following points need to me covered:
   1. who is the author?
   2. what are the main points of the ethnography?
      1. where, when, with whom?
      2. the starting point of the argument
      3. the main points the author is contributing
   3. some evaluative comments
4. Hand-in a five to ten page paper based on the presentation
